In a development that has sent ripples through sports and celebrity circles, New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs has officially been confirmed as the father of a seven-month-old daughter born to model Aileen Lopera (who is known online as Lord Gisselle). According to a statement from Lopera’s attorney, Tamar G. Arminak, Diggs’ paternity was validated through genetic testing, and the lawyer expressed hope that Diggs will meaningfully contribute to the child’s life and engage in a cooperative co-parenting arrangement.

The roller-coaster of legal filings began back in December 2024, when Lopera then expecting the baby filed a petition in Los Angeles seeking legal and physical custody of her unborn child. She named the baby girl Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera in subsequent documents.

With the genetic test now settled, the child’s surname already reflects Diggs’ family name, suggesting that Lopera has anticipated or asserted his fatherhood in public records. However, while paternity has been legally established, the broader custody and co-parenting agreement between Diggs and Lopera remains unresolved and may still involve negotiation or court consideration.

Adding further layers to this story is the fact that Diggs is currently expecting a child with acclaimed rapper Cardi B his first with her and her fourth overall. Lopera’s legal team has expressed optimism about moving forward collaboratively. In the statement confirming paternity, Arminak said, “We are hopeful that our client and Mr. Diggs can now work together for the betterment of their child.” The attorney further noted that while the case may not be fully closed, this development opens the path toward potential cooperation rather than conflict.

For Diggs, who has navigated both professional responsibilities on the field and highly visible relationships off it, the confirmation of paternity may mark a turning point. Having earlier opposed the paternity claim by requesting testing, the validation now places him in the position of father to a young daughter whose surname bears his name.
